We are implementing focused, high-impact prevention; targeted HIV testing; treatment and retention in care; anti-discriminatory programs; and an unwavering commitment to respecting, protecting and promoting human rights and gender equality.
We are currently working with Makerere Joint AIDS Project (MJAP) to scale up community referrals and linkages to increase access and uptake of comprehensive HIV/AIDS clients, OVC and survivors of Gender Based Violence (GBV), in Kampala and surrounding districts.
Similarly, we are also working with Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation in the Rwenzori region to provide a framework to leverage the strengths of communities in achieving the UNAIDS 95-95-95 targets, after tremendous success in the UNAIDS 90-90-90 strategy. Specifically, we are providing a core package of community based services to PLHIV (Persons Living with HIV) and OVC (Orphans and Vulnerable Children), and also providing referrals and linkages between health facilities and the community with hopes of eliminating AIDS as a public health threat
