Who We Are
Support to Children, Inc. (SUTCHI) is a non-profit organization established in 2010 to support HIV/AIDS orphans and children with special needs in Uganda. In USA, Support to Children is registered as a 501(c)(3), tax exempt organization. SUTCHI currently supports over 3000 children and their families and communities.
Where We Work
Currently, we work in 5 districts: Rakai, Kampala, Wakiso, Kyenjojo and Masaka. In Kampala, capital of Uganda, a growing metropolis that is overpopulated, we mainly focus on the street children and those children in poor slum dwellings. In the rural districts of Kyenjojo and Rakai, our focus is on extremely poor households infected or affected by HIV/AIDS.
What We Do
We work to empower vulnerable children with knowledge and information through support to their health and education. We provide school fees and scholastic materials for orphans and children with special needs.We work with other organizations and institutions to fight childhood poverty, abuse, neglect and malnutrition.
