Where We Work:

Currently we work with over 500 children, their families and communities in 4 districts of Rakai, Kampala, Wakiso, and Masaka. Kampala being an overpopulated growing city, our major focus is on the street children and those children in poor slum dwellings.

The primary focus is to assists HIV/AIDS orphans, children with special needs and their families achieve economic self-reliance through small capital incentives, education and basic health care. In all our activities we advocate for the increased participation of children in programs that target them.

What We Do:

We work to empower vulnerable children with knowledge and information through support to their health and education. We provide school fees and scholastic materials for orphans and children with special needs.

We work with other organizations and institutions to fight childhood poverty, abuse, neglect and malnutrition.

Who We Serve:

Our activities target vulnerable children specifically orphans and children with special needs. We work with their families to fight poverty, hunger and malnutrition. Many underprivileged children were unable to access education despite the prospects available through Universal Primary and Secondary Education. SUTCHI aims at bridging the gap between availability and access to education by vulnerable children in Uganda living in poverty at the same time having a disability.
